If it wasn’t for the publicity he had received from his involvement with American Idol, The X Factor The Voice, I may not know Blake Shelton from any of the (many) other current country hitmakers that I don’t know from Blake Shelton…I don’t listen, I don’t care to. Apparently, he said something the other day that pissed off a few folks, so much so that two songs have popped up over the weekend. The first comes via Knoxville and a singer named Brandon Fulson. The other is a brief ditty written and recorded by Texas legend in the making Dale Watson. Neither of these guys are going to be asked to open for Shelton on his next tour.
To be fair to Shelton, he backtracked on clarified his statement the other day.
