The Gift coming to Leduc

Coming to Leduc October 13 is The Gift.

We moved north from Red Deer just over eleven years ago, and the first concert we attended in Leduc was a great performance from one of my favourites, John Wort Hannam. I was so excited to be near the city and able to attend concerts whenever I wanted.

The next decade I attended about three concert whereas I would have done that some months in Red Deer. Things don’t always work out as planned.

Now living in Leduc, I am not going to pass up the opportunity to see this terrific production featuring the songs of Ian Tyson. And I realize, I haven’t seen John Wort Hannam since that evening in 2012. Wort Hannam headlines an evening that also features Tracy Millar and a swath of Tyson collaborators—Thom Moon (drums), Gordie Matthews (guitar), Myran Szott (fiddle), and Julian Kerr (bass) as well as singer and guitarist Ian Oscar—from throughout the years. https://maclabcentre.com/performances/the-gift/…
